Giorgi Vachnadze'10: Exploring Christian Eschatology and AI

We are delighted to introduce Giorgi Vachnadze, an alumnus of the American Academy in Tbilisi, class of 2010, and his latest work - Christian Eschatology of Artificial Intelligence: Pastoral Technologies of Cybernetic Flesh. 

In his work, Giorgi explores the intersections of philosophy, theology, and technology.

As a scholar, Giorgi Vachnadze specializes in the philosophies of Michel Foucault and Ludwig Wittgenstein. He earned his bachelor's degree from New Mexico State University and subsequently completed his master's in philosophy at the University of Leuven in Belgium. 

In addition to his academic achievements, Giorgi has been an editor and a peer reviewer for The Apricot, a graduate student journal of philosophy, and has been published widely in academic and popular journals worldwide.
