Ilia Sulamanidze and Giorgi Sardalashvili Visit the American Academy

On September 20, 2024, at the American Academy's weekly assembly, David Shafakidze’s senior advisory class invited distinguished guests. The audience had the pleasure of meeting Georgian judokas Ilia Sulamanidze, silver medalist of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, and Giorgi Sardalashvili, world champion in judo. The meeting continued with a lively discussion, during which the athletes shared their experiences and valuable advice with our students.
At the end of the event, Ilia Sulamanidze performed a piece on the piano, completely captivating the audience.
