Graduation Ceremony 2024

The twentieth Graduation Ceremony was conducted at the Lisi campus of the Guivy Zaldastanishvili American Academy in Tbilisi on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
This year, the American Academy graduated seventy- one students. Graduate families, trustees, and members of the 2007 class attended the ceremony.
The commencement addresses were given by Giorgi Bazgadze, the Co-Chairman and a Trustee of the American Academy in Tbilisi, and Ketevan Vashakidze, a member of the class of 2007.
Established by Donald W. Thomas, the Founding Director of the American Academy, the school upholds the tradition of presenting medals to outstanding graduates during the graduation ceremony.
This year, Anna Urushadze ’24 and Nikoloz Salakaia ’24 received the Faculty and Thomas Medals, respectively.
