Georgian National Debate Tournament

We are pleased to inform you that Kato Dadiani and Mariam Gurabanidze, members of our school's debate club, were named the best speakers in the Georgian national debate tournament held by the Georgian Institute for Debate and Education (GIDE).
The best teams from 700 existing debate clubs from all over the country competed in the large-scale tournament.
The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, the First Deputy Chairman of the Parliament's Education and Science Committee, the director of the Gudavadze-Patarkatsishvili Foundation, the rectors of Tbilisi and Ilia State Universities, and other supporters awarded students prizes, certificates, and cups at the event.
The national tournament was held as part of the "Debate for Better Education" project, which was funded by the Gudavadze Patarkatsishvili Foundation. We congratulate our students on their outstanding achievements and thank the Institute of Debate and Education of Georgia for hosting such a large-scale and interesting tournament, as well as for many years of collaboration with the American Academy!
