Seniors New Project “Learn Math with TIMA”

Tika Nazrishvili and Mariam Khaduri, two American Academy senior students presented their new project “ Learn Math with TIMA” on which they have been working for almost a year.
They've developed an English-Georgian explanatory mathematical dictionary to support Georgian students who are studying mathematics or related subjects.
The glossary contains 1135 most commonly used and important mathematical terms and definitions, each with an explanation and hand-drawn graphic illustrations.
In light of the tragic events in Ukraine, the students raised 2030 GEL by selling the dictionary in pdf format and donated the proceeds the Ukrainian people.
The funds were sent in full to the Bank of Georgia's "Tree of Life" Fund, which would thereafter forward them to the Red Cross.
