Nona Gaprindashvili's Visit to the Academy

On Friday, December 17, the American Academy hosted six-time world chess champion and Grandmaster, Honored Master of Sports Nona Gaprindashvili. The chess grandmaster awarded medals to the tournament winners: Beka Ramishvili (12th Grade) – 1st place; Dachi Ghvinadze (11th Grade) – 2nd Place; Giorgi Rurua (8th Grade) – 3rd Place. The meeting went very well. It was very interesting and unforgettable for our students. After the award ceremony, Gaprindashvili shared her rich and amazing experience with Academy students.
