Guest Speaker, Sandro Megrelishvili

On Monday, October 20, the American Academy was delighted to welcome back Sandro Megrelishvili, our alumnus from the Class of 2009, as a guest speaker.
Sandro holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from St. Andrews University (United Kingdom) and a Master’s degree in Political Science from Ilia State University. Over the years, he has worked both in the public sector, including at the Ministry of Defence of Georgia and within civil society organizations, such as the Georgian Center for Strategy and Development (GCSD).
During his visit, Sandro led an engaging and insightful discussion on the topic: Democracy the End of History or an Exception?
