French Musicians’ Masterclass at the Academy

On Wednesday, February 19, 2020, two French musicians Fabien Mornet and Miquèu Montanaro gave a masterclass to the American Academy seniors during their music class.
Fabien and Miquèu are visiting Georgia to collaborate with Georgian artists working in music (Leno Records and PostRed) and film industries (20 Steps). We took the opportunity of inviting them to the school for sharing with our students their experience on various topics such as what it means to be a musician; how two artists combine Georgian folk instrument with the French culture, and etc.
The workshop has been conducted in a Q&A mode; to illustrate their work, the musicians performed some themes on Georgian folk instruments.
The masterclass was very interesting and we look forward to having Fabien and Miquèu visiting the school as many times as possible.
