Lecture on "Women's Initiative for Equality"

On Thursday, December 12th, the American Academy hosted Lela Gaprindashvili.
Lela is a professor at Tbilisi State University (Department of Sociology and Social Work). At the same time, she is the chairman of the Women's Initiative for Equality Union and is the author of numerous studies and publications on women culture and women movement history in Georgia, gender issues and the promotion of women education.
The topic of the discussion was “Women's Rights: History of the West and Georgia”.
