American Academy Students attend Model United Nations Conference in New York

On March 13–19, the students of the G. Zaldastanishvili American Academy in Tbilisi took part in the United Nations Model UN programme in New York, USA. They participated as delegates to the UN General Assembly and represented the country of Latvia and its interests.
Within the framework of the program, our students became acquainted with the nuances of the work of the United Nations, gained experience in public speaking, learned to present resolutions and amendments. By the end of the program, our students obtained the United Nations Modeling Program international certificates.
Within this initiative, our students had the opportunity to meet young people from different nations from all over the world, where up to 1000 students participated.
