On February 23, the American Academy hosted Marika Sikharulidze, digital citizenship specialist at the USAID Civic Education Program. Marika represents the digital citizenship program for the Council of Europe’s department of Education in Georgia. Marika spoke to students about digital citizenship, namely, cyber awareness and cyber hygiene; basics of media and information literacy; influence of social networks on society; cyberbullying and hate speech on the internet;
